SOPMOD блок 2 не регламентирует газблок, а их некоторое разнообразие почти одинаковых,
от разных производителей - Vltor, DD, YHM, etc
Если ориентироваться по сайту производителя, то
"The Daniel Defense RIS II is to be used in conjunction with the MK12 Low Profile Gas Block."
Это касается MK18 RAIL INTERFACE SYSTEM II, RIS II
логично что и под 12.5 дюймов идет тот же газблок. Но это умозаключения, а как на самом деле?

I didn't really do any research on these with regards to steel used, ect., nor did I comparison shop the prices, I've just listed them. Anyone that knows a little bit more about them, feel free to chime in, and/or if you've used any of them, please comment. Probably be helpful for others looking to do builds as well.

Yes, the MK12 gas block is common to the SOPMOD block 2. It is a NSWC print that routinely comes up for bid, examples:

The correct manufacture is any one that has been awarded a contract. For each submittal there were many other companies that built “Bid Samples “ to the NSWC print 99.99% of the time contract award is to the lowest priced offered as 99.99% of “Bid Samples “ would conform to the print with price being the deciding factor.
